Old man winter is not known as a wistful romantic and Valentine’s Day is still a month away, but you can turn winter drudgery into romantic spoilings.
Here are a few ideas to show her how much you care:

• Clear the frost off of her windshield in the morning before she goes to work or school.
• Shovel her walk.
• Walk her to her car if the walk is slippery.
• Buy a cozy, warm throw or blanket.
• Fix her a hot bowl of soup for lunch.
• Make a nice meal after work, or take her to a favorite restaurant.
• Buy her a book or magazine for those shut-in snow days.

So, put on your hat and scarf and prepare to do battle with the elements while you win your true love’s heart… and maybe a little frostbite.
